I’m Victoria. A sparkling individual born in Norway with british roots. I have spent the last few years studying fashion and working in London and New York. This has given me a lot of experience and built up my skills to work with creative projects within the industry. In London i studied creative direction at London college of fashion. Thru different projects and assignments I learned how to communicate my creativity thru images and words. I worked with magazine spreads, fashion films, exhibitions and social media. I started the Vixen Fashion Doll blog in the beginning of my studies to learn and explore social media and fashion photography. I found this very interesting and have developed a good visual eye within photography and moving image. I also developed strategies for social media as it’s a great marketing tool for companies and individual promotion. I am good at creating concepts and communicating this thru different medias and work well in teams to accomplish a successful outcome.
In New York I studied fashion business at Parsons New school and F.I.T (Fashion institute of technology) in Manhattan. At Parsons i studied marketing and product development and learned the history of how fashion companies world wide has marketed and developed their products. In F.I.T i also studied branding and the key concepts that are crucial for a company to make or break. Trend spotting and fashion history were also major topics in my studies, and by living in New York city you quickly develop trend spotting skills and of course how you can track the newest trends. In the fashion entrepreneur course i learned to conceive of, finance, open, and operate a successful fashion business. Through collaborative research and hands-on practice, I learned how to open a business and navigate the complexities of working in teams. I created business models and structure legal business organizations and explored the details of financing and insurance.
I also produce/write and sing. To listen and read more about my music visit: www.vickysoul.com
I am now working freelance taking on different creative projects for companies that are in need of my wide experience. I am interested to work within fashion, social media, moving image, photography, development of business concepts, branding and trend spotting.
A bit about me as a person: Well, they say I’m entertainment 24 hours a day, I have a big smile, always new creative ideas, I love to work in teams but also comfortable working on my own. My heart beats faster when I discover a new ingredient to play with in the kitchen, and I absolutely love healthy food and keeping fit. I get inspired by people who are passionate, provocative and who choose to walk against the main stream. Everything you can imagine is possible, and success is the best revenge!
